Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadow (The Bronze Palette)

Value:

This Kyshadow palette is sold exclusively on the Kylie Cosmetics website for $42. When compared to another higher end brand palette such as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, which is also $42, you definitely receive more product with 0.45 oz of product in comparison to 0.28 oz that you receive with the Modern Renaissance. This has a high price point, however, I do feel that this is justified if you want to pay for the brand and what it represents. I do think for this price point a mirror or a brush would have been nice, which she eventually does in later palettes. 

Formula: 

These shadows are pressed powder shadows that are of medium buildable coverage. Even though they are powder, they have a velvet-like feel to them. The pigmentation of these shades is great! The shadows being medium coverage means that they blend very easily, but you can build up the opacity. I do find that the shadows fall out of the pan a little bit, but I do find that this happens with other palettes of different brands. To prevent fallout from the application on a brush going everywhere, I always keep the plastic sheet on the palette and am always careful with how I dip my brush in the pan.

Shades: 
This eyeshadow palette has 2 satin shimmer shades and 7 matte shades. They range from subtle bronzes and browns for natural looks but there are also deep browns and a black that can create more dramatic, smokey eye looks.

Results:
I really love this palette as it has the potential to not only create everyday neutral looks, but also dramatic smokey eye also. The formula allows for a really soft and blended finish which is something that is super important with any good eyeshadow palette.

My Personal Opinion Overall:
I am really happy with this palette and the quality of the shadows and packaging. If you are looking for a great neutral palette, this is really easy to use and has great versatility. It also works great with my sensitive skin and does not cause me any irritation. ♡♡♡

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Background Information/ About Brand:

Renowned Makeup Artist Laura Mercier uses Setting Powder to set foundation and prolong its wear, so she applies it after foundation and concealer, and before applying powder-based color. It also helps powder blush or bronzer go on more evenly. I have used one other powder besides this one it was a great one as well but the brand was no longer made anymore, the only way to get it was online. This powder by Laura Mercier is almost exactly like the one I used to use by Truco. This has a price point at $38 for the standard and has 1oz, 30 mL and for the one I am giving away the travel sized one is $23 and has 0.33 oz, 9 g of product.

How to Use:

Preparing the puff or sponge is key: press the Laura Mercier Powder Puff into the loose powder, then work the powder into the puff by folding and rubbing the halves together, or by tapping the powdered side vigorously on back of hand. Gently press the puff onto skin, using a rolling motion to work the powder in. As with all setting powders apply any creamy formulas, including cream blush. Tip: when your entire makeup application is complete, including color, give your skin a velvety, finished look by using the powder brush to apply translucent loose setting powder to sides of your cheeks, and the center of the forehead, nose, and tip of the chin.

My Personal Opinion: 

This loose setting powder is the holy grail of setting powders. Not only is the powder so finely milled that it looks beautiful in all lights, but I use as a finishing setting powder and to set my contour. Overall it is a great product and does exactly what is says, finishes your foundation perfectly, does not crease. It just makes your skin glow without looking sparkly or white. ♡♡♡

Background Information:
I've only ever tried 2 setting sprays, but this one is the best by far! It goes on in a fine mist, dries quickly, and doesn't leave any streaks or runs. My skin can be on the dry side sometimes, but this spray doesn't leave my face feeling dry or tight, plus, it kept my makeup from migrating into those fine lines. My Personal Opinion: 
This is my favorite setting spray, I use this all the time and it's fantastic for my dry skin. All Nighter makes my makeup look and feel more nice and consistently dewy-ish. I love it because it is also great for refreshing your makeup throughout the day. This product is now a staple in my morning makeup routine. ♡♡♡
