Fingertip application will provide the highest amount of coverage, and for a more sheer look I would suggest using a flat synthetic cheek/ foundation brush or a duo fiber brush. A flat synthetic brush will give more coverage and the duo fiber brush will give a more air brushed effect. Colour builds from natural to intense, build to your hearts desire!

My Personal Opinion:
I'm NC 15-20 depth range. Very yellow undertone. AKA: very pale. Wisp blends in great and unnoticably against my coloring, because of its pale golden color. When the light hits... nice glow. From subtle to pow, depending on how much you apply. This is also great smoothed across an entire eye lid, right up to the brow, for a subtle lift of light on a no-makeup look... or it can act as a great primary eye base to layer colors on top of for a backlight effect. It is pearlescent, so it has very fine reflective particles. Kinda like you would find in a creamy satin shadow... but Wisp has more of a metallic sheen. I'm finding with all the supershock items my favorite brush to use is a classic flat paddle foundation brush. I can pat product along my face or use it for a nice even wipe across my entire eye area. Wisp is very pretty and is like an invisible product on my skin until the light hits it. It's a winner in my book, and they are also so affordable too! ♡♡♡

I know it is expensive. But regardless this is a gorgeous palette! I love that I do not need to wet my eyeshadow brush to get beautiful pigmentation from the metallics, and there is no fallout when I apply. This is probably my favorite formulation of shadows, and I am so picky about good shadows. Believe me when I say this is a great purchase! If you have never tried Denona's palletes, this is an affordable option with a complete look in one small package. With pigmentation like this, you do not need to worry about running through it too quickly. ♡♡♡

The case has two lids: the inner keeps the roll in place; the outer, with teeth, helps you tear the paper sheets. Each roll has 5.15m of blotting paper. It is the equivalent of 64 sheets if you tear off 8cm each time. A case with a roll is $26; refills are $14 each. 

My personal opinion:

This is hands down the prettiest facial blotter I have seen. It easily looks like a modern makeup accessory, and is super addictive to use. I found the paper to be thinner than most  blotters, so people with really oily skin would have to use two or more sheets, but the good thing it that you get to control how much you use each time. So you do not waste one whole sheet on just a small area. Make sure you tear the sheet in one swift movement to get a neat cut. ♡♡♡

Benefit Roller Lash

About Brand: 

Benefit is known for a few things- say them with me now: Benetint lip and cheek stain, Hoola bronzer, and, of course, They're Real! mascara. In fact, it seems like every mascara Benefit puts out elicits a cult following. Well, friends, since I tend to venture toward any and all mascara launches, I was eager to try out this one. It's a mascara that claims to lift and curl lashes, eliminating all need for a lash curler. Benefit is tauting Roller Lash as the mascara "everyone can use." Meaning this mascara accommodates lash needs, whatever one has short eyelashes, straight eyelashes, or small eyes. 

The Wand: 

This wand went through four different designs. It started with a large, curve brush that resembled what I like to call a "banana with spikes." Benefit found it was too big for smaller eye shapes, made lashes heavy, and caused clumping. Design number two was slim, with a subtle bend to the wand and a soft material. It was good but didn't create enough of a curl for straight and short lashes. Design number three is where Benefit added the tiny "hooks" to the wand. These where made for the shorter lashes. While it did coat every lash, the curl wasn't right, and the location of the hooks wasn't conductive to creating a lifted effect. The final design involved strategic hook placement so they would grab each lash from root to tip; the style is now Benefit's patent-pending Hook 'n' Roll brush. 

How to Use: 

• The curve of the wand is designed to coat every lash. Start with the wand held horizontally with the tip of the curve pointing downward.
• Gently wiggle the wand from base of lashes to tip. As the wand moves up the lashes, slowly rotate the tip inward and up so the curve of the wand matches the eye contour, coating even the innermost and outermost lashes.

My Personal Opinion:

When I wear my natural lashes, because I usually wear false lashes, I loved the lift it gives me. I also appreciate that I actually feel it "hook" my lashes- it wasn't just a gimmick to put on the packaging. Plus it really did hold a curl. Granted, it's not going to be as perfect as an eyelash curler, but it's a natural lift that lasts throughout the day. Also I would say is your lashes are heavier stick to one coat, since this mascara might weigh them down and defeat the purpose of curling the lashes. ♡♡♡

My Personal Opinion:

For starters I think the scent of this product is great and it doesn't bother me at all. I also feel like this truly nourished my hair from root to tip. When I received this product in the mail I used it immediately because my hair desperately needed it. This is going to sound disgusting but when this product arrived in the mail I hadn't washed my hair in four days and I thought that could not be a more perfect time to test whether it would help with oil and refresh my hair like regular shampoo. I have very thick hair so it tends to get a little oily if I go a couple days without washing so it was the perfect time to use it. It actually soaked up all my oils and refreshed and nourished my hair to the point that I could go one more day without washing my hair but appeared that I washed it! That is pretty amazing. My hair looked and also felt healthy and not sticky which is the really amazing part. Usually dry shampoos seem to leave a mask in my hair that makes it clump up in sections and look a weird color but this was not the case. I am so happy I had the chance to try this product out and I have definitely repurchased this a couple of times. ♡♡♡

Background:

I wanted to try ColourPop Super Shock Shadows ever since they took the beauty industry by storm with their awesome quality. Today, I will be reviewing the shade "Drift" which is a beautiful cranberry shade. So, let's see how this eyeshadow fared for me.

Product Description:

Pop this true cranberry in a pearlized finish on your eyes and you may notice some attractive men drifting your way. This long-wearing creme powder formula has an elastic-like texture that is totally party proof. Avoid the fallout from traditional powder shadows and say goodbye to raccoon eyes! This feather soft formula glides on and feels amazing. Super Shock Shadows come in a ton of shades in multiple fabulous finishes. They are also a cruelty free brand.

How to Use:

For maximum coverage, use the fingertip to tap shadow on the eyelid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush is perfect for detailed application close to the lash line. Using a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip the tip of the brush into the shadow and apply with a "windshield wiper" movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow appear soft and diffused like a total pro! When finished, close it up tight! Do not leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazing. 

Packaging:

The packaging comes in a white round pot with a transparent screw lid. The lid has a holographic writing on the top- ColourPop. The bottom of the pot specifies the name of the product- "Drift." The eyeshadow comes in a lavender cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list. 

Texture and Application:

The texture of this eyeshadow is super creamy and buttery. It is a mix between a powder and a cream product. It is creamy to the touch but when you apply it on your eyes, it gives a satiny finish. The product has a scale-like pattern to it. Due to its texture, it is best applied with your fingers. Keep the jar tightly closed, so that the product does not dry out. I didn't have any fall out drying application of the shadow. 

Pigmentation and Coverage:

The eyeshadow is super pigmented. One swipe with your finger is all it takes to get full coverage. Since the texture is creamy, use a synthetic fluffy brush to blend the product. If you want to pack on the color you can use a dense synthetic brush. To get more shine spray the brush with MAC Fix Plus. 

Shade and Finish:

"Drift" is described as a cranberry shade in pearlized finish and it is indeed a stunning warm reddish cranberry shade with specks of sliver, violet, and red sparkles. This color is beautiful for fall season. The eyeshadow blends flawlessly and the color payoff is great. 

Staying Power:

The staying power is really good with this eyeshadow. It stays on for around eight hours even without an eye primer. This eyeshaow does not crease on me even after applying the shadow on my oily lids for the whole day. Overall, I am very happy with the product. 

My Personal Opinion:

This formula and payoff are great, the color is not very unique. But if you do not have any cranberry shades go for it. I find it gives a very 90's vibe on me. It had great payoff and is very easy to apply. I absolutely love ColourPop every time they have a launch I have to buy it, plus they are very affordable and are made in Los Angeles. ♡♡♡

My Personal Opinion:

I love this liquid lipstick line! This is the first liquid lipstick that I have purchased and I could not be happier. It is very comfortable, super pigmented, and there is very little transfer. The best part for me is that the fragrance is very light and goes away completely after application. I have them in also every shade except his very bold and bright colors. About two coats will give you extra full coverage. For instance, darker colors like Blue Velvet may need a extra coat. It is really easy to remove, I use the Clinique Take The Day Off. Overall, I would totally give Jeffree Star five stars he is amazing. ♡♡♡

The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is a soft waxy balm that emulsifies into a powerful oil-based makeup remover fluid when applied to the skin. This balm gently, yet effectively removes all traces of makeup including mascara and waterproof products with minimal effort. Although it transforms to an oil it is not difficult at all to rinse off and does not leave your skin feeling oily or dirty afterwards. There is no feeling of residue when I rinsed the product off and I did not experience any dry or redness from use. What I really like about the product is that true to Clinique's policy it does not have any fragrance and does not sting or irritate my eyes. To date I have not experienced any breakouts from using the product myself. Although it is not the most inexpensive makeup remover on the market you get a very generous sized product that will last you for ages.

My Personal Opinion: 

I absolutely love this product. A little goes a long way with it too so the whole container lasts me awhile. I have been using this product for a couple of years now and I have tried other similar products that do not compare. I usually start my night time routine with this, and it gets off all of my foundation and 95% of my eyemakeup. This balm is so brilliant and because it is so effective there is no need to rub or pull on the skin which I think is an advantage in the long run. ♡♡♡

Tips and Tricks: 

• Pull gently on the upper corner of the eye area to stretch and smooth the eye before lining with the Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner. This will make it easy to line and eliminate bleeding. 
• Apply the liner as close to the lashes as possible. In order to avoid a gap between the lashes and the lining, try painting the liner into the lashes using small feathering strokes. 
• It is usually easiest to apply liquid eyeliner by starting at the area of the eye where the brush naturally falls. For right-handed people this is most likely a left to right motion; for left-handed it is usually a right to left motion. 
• Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner is the perfect product for creating glamorous cat eyes. The best cat eye can be achieved by extending the eye shape. Use the lower lash line as a guide and create the wing first. Then connect it when lining the rest of the eye. Also, as a good rule of thumb, begin to line upward at the second to last lash.

My Personal Opinion:
This is one of the best eyeliners on the market. I cannot begin to adequately sing the praises of this product.I have used so many different kinds of eyeliners and here is what happens: it melts off or tears off and gets smeared. When I curl my lashes it comes off and I have to reapply it. The tip is unruly and leads me to believe that I cannot do a cat-eye wing. Thanks to Stila, I finally look like I know what I am doing. It applies easily and smoothly. It does not melt in the corners of my eyes. I can curl my lashes like a maniac and it does not come off. To remove it I use baby oil gel or makeup remover. The only downside is the price, obviously it is worth every penny but I wish it was a little more accessible for those that wear it every day. Other than that, I would totally recommend giving it a try. ♡♡♡

A Popsocket is a plastic button that is attached to a platform by a flexible accordion. The platform is backed by a reusable sticky coating so that you can reposition your Popsocket directly on your iPhone or iPad, or on a protective case. You can pick any base color you like, and choose the button's image from the website's collection or add your own. 

How does it work?:

  Flexibility and durability are the keys to the Popsocket's design. The accordion turns a full 360 degrees and has two different telescopic levels to adjust the tilt of your screen. The sticky backing on the platform is reusable; you can remove and reposition the Popsocket as often as you like without losing adhesion. That is all the Popsocket does, but there is versatility in the simplicity of the design. 

  The first telescopic level pulls the button away from your phone far enough for you to slip your fingers in for a better grip on your iPhone. I have noticed in the past that scrolling too much on my screen hurts my thumb after a while. The Popsocket lets me hold the iPhone from behind like a book instead of having to grip the width of the screen. That change in grip has made scrolling much more comfortable. Gripping your phone and hitting the capture button while taking a selfie is also much easier with the Popsocket. 

What are Popclips?: 

Popclips ($10) are an accessory to the Popsocket. Mount your Popclip to any surface; your dashboard, kitchen cabinets, and office wall are all great places to have an easily accessible touchscreen. Unlike Popsockets, the adhesive backing to Popclips are not reusable. Once you place your Popclip, that is where it will stay. Fortunately, this means the Popclip is durable and will hold your phone for the long haul. 

Other uses:

  For those of us on earlier model iPhones, tangled earbud cords continue to be an issue. You can stick a second Popsocket on the back of your iPhone to wind your cord. Since Popsockets are reusable, you can pull the second one off when you do not need it for cord storage. Obviously, the more Popsockets you put on your phone, the sillier the whole thing looks. Personally, I have never put more than one Popsocket on the back of my iPhone. The iPad, however, is a different matter.

This can come in handy for cooking, watching videos in the backseat of the car, or hands-free viewing of how-to videos such as makeup tutorials.
