Background Information:
As a young teenager, I never paid much attention to how dry my skin appeared. Until, my mother gave me full responsibility of taking care of my body in middle school. It really came full circle when I turned 15 and I had to take a trip to the emergency room. I wasn't adhering to the full skincare routine over the last couple of years and because of that I received a rude awakening! I had been lying to my mother and to myself about how serious my eczema had become. My skin was severely cracking because of skin dehydration and becoming infected. I thought it was going to be an overnight fix in reality it has become a lengthy process, especially for my body due to the many rounds of antibiotics and skin steroids I had been on. Self acceptance (noun) the ability to love yourself unconditionally, no matter what flaws and traits exist, is finally resonating in my mind. Hydration is the building block for a healthy body being that 60% of the human body is comprised of water. Capturing as much moisture as we can throughout our day is vital for survival. I highly recommend not only drinking water, but penetrating your skin externally with extra moisture.

My Personal Opinion:
I’m amazed that my skin looks and feels smooth and plump. It hasn’t looked this way in a few years since I started wearing makeup in the seventh grade. I had been trying other creams that worked well for what they were targeted for but did not quite meet the moisture expectation for my skin type. The nice thing is that with smooth skin comes a smooth canvas for makeup which is a very essential step. I have been using this for about a year now and I am still happy with the results. ♡♡♡

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of finally finding a moisturizer that doesn't leave my skin oily. What size container do you usually purchase and for how much? I'm excited to see what other beauty products you introduce that could possibly be the change I've been looking for in my routine!
ReplyDeleteI usually buy the medium one for $39 but they have smaller one for $19.😊
DeleteThis is a must have! Does this give the same results with dry skin and oily skin?
ReplyDeleteYes it sure does! 😌
DeleteThe review and the details that you included have convinced me to try this moisturizer. I am definitely coming back to see what other products you will be reviewing.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually use moisturizer since it makes my skin oily and acne prone but I may try this product. Hopefully it will work at least half as well on me as it has you.
